Thread Summary

The forum discussion revolves around users collaborating to identify letters and numbers in pictures related to a mystery. Users like cthree, maltedfalcon, TheTornado, and catherwood engage in debates over the inclusion of certain characters in a chart and the clarity of identifications. There are disagreements on interpreting numbers and patterns, with some users emphasizing specific clues while others remain skeptical. Suggestions are made for creating a chart with confidence ratings for each identified element and considering the possibility of intentional distractions by the artist. Overall, the discussion showcases a mix of collaboration, differing opinions, and a quest for clarity in deciphering the images to uncover hidden meanings.

A requested thread--post any letters and/or numbers found in any of the Pictures.  :) Cat and i got together and came up with this list--we've tried to include only #'s and Letters we are all in agreement on. Im not sure of all of them so post any things you've seen here and ill update the 'Egbert' chart  ;)--- Ive put a "?" after ones that are questionable. PIC-----------------#'s-----------------LETTERS--------- --------------------------------------------------------- P1                       38/122                     Roman/G/H P2                     79/80/33/23?                   n?/h? P3                          5                              ?? P4                        42/81                          ?? P5                        41/87                          ?? P6                        2-(32?82?)                   ?? P7                        29/90/19                         ?? P8                        95/96/30                    "zoo"? P9                          39                           X(Roman?) P10                        ??                             ?? P11                   111/112/41/42                 ?? P12                     50/15/141?                    ??

maltedfalcon

Don't forget these...

maltedfalcon

this one? Possible word "Zoo" Sorry thought I had posted it under image 8

cthree

Chart has been updated.

TheTornado

There is a 74 and a possible 19 in the water in pic 12

fox

how about the possible "n" or "h" over the left eye of the large mask...

maltedfalcon

Unknown: There is a 74 and a possible 19 in the water in pic 12 See the pix about 3 up it looks more like a 741 to me. unless you mean somewhere different. where is the 19?

TheTornado

In the top in the center is a "19" or "91" the 9 is mirrored

cthree

I'm worried about our chart getting convoluted...can you guys all give me the heads up if you ALL basically agree that there is at least 'something' there? Then i will add it.  ;)

cthree

Unknown: I don't understand... You start the thread and don't want to check our suggestions? Or don't you have a copy of the book? Everything maltedfalcon, TheTornado, fox and me have added so far is correct or at least a plainly visible anomaly in the pictures that could be interpreted as a number or a letter (designated as "?"). Yeah...you dont understand. I have a copy of the book. I just think that if i add every suggestion to the list it will become convoluted. I mean: I really appreciate the suggestion and its a great idea. BUT--i personally dont see ANYTHING in that one. Why add a 19 or a 91 to the #'s? To confuse things? Anybody that can read can check the thread and read the suggestions. Like i said if everybody agrrees-up it goes. If you would rather an 'all possibiliteis' chart just ask nicely. By the way id love to see a close up of the "IS" in the Sumpter Mask you see. Do you have the ability to do that or can you describe where it is?

maltedfalcon

Play Nice! Don't Run With Scissors! That's the culmination of everything I learned in School.... I think this is supposed to be the IS  - though I could be wrong its fuzzy.

TheTornado

Do you see the 74? It is under the 91

catherwood

I applaud the attempt to find the intended clues.  I remember needing to be convinced of the existance of any numbers at all in the pictures, at first.  Even now, I only accept with confidence those things which are obvious to me *without* them being pointed out and/or zoomed in on.  When we start down the path of seeing things in every random brush stroke, we lose sight of the real clues. We all agree on a few numbers.  We all disagree on many others.  No matter how much you make me look at the water on Image 12, I see nothing but a single vertical line of dots in the foam.  I *might* see the 4 in the dark area posted by Tornado -- and it looks more like 54 than 74 to me -- but the streaks in the curl of the wave are just streaks to me.  They simply do not have the "jump off the page" impact as do the numbers in the tree branchs of the Houston image, for example. If someone wants to list *every* suggested sighting in a chart, that's fine, they are free to do so.  But it might be helpful to give them a confidence rating.  We can all vote on how much weight to give each sighting.  Otherwise, people are free to stay out of the discussion of clues with which they do not agree.

wilhouse

It seems to me that anywhere in any pic that we see a JP (pic 12?) or IP or 1P we have to consider the possibility that these are the artists initials, both of which are JP. wilhouse
